Welcome to Remembering Natalie.
This blog has been created by us, Natalie's mom and sisters, to share with all of you, glimpses of her amazing 23 years of life.
This is not meant to be a sad look back . . . but more a way to tell her story and keep her memory as bright as her life was.
Our hope is that here, you'll find good doses of laughter, her great recipes,
our random thoughts and memories, and maybe a few tears.
We are not what you would call the "pro-active" type . . .
but this is our attempt to aid in the awareness of DVT and Factor V Leiden,
the conditions that ended her life here on earth.
We hope you'll check in every-so-often, and if you have any stories of her . . . please, do tell!
If you didn't know Natalie, get to know her by reading her story found at the bottom of the page . . .
So thanks for visiting & come back as often as you'd like!

One day each of us will run out of tomorrows"

Reunion...

Tangled...
have you seen it?
What an adorable childrens movie.
I've seen it twice..
with the same reaction both times..
The reunion of parents and daughter
after many long years..
Both times...I've had to fight the tears
Just seeing them look at each other
and embracing after being apart soooooo long...
it tugs at my heart
It's something I can barely comprehend
the magnitude of seeing Natalie again...
One day... we'll have our reunion
it will be just like...
a fairy tale...

A face of Hope...her story has touched me..

Big brown eyes, a beautiful smile..
gone too soon..
This story has made my heart sad
maybe because I see a younger version of Natalie..
My heart goes out to her parents
a prayer that they are being comforted
and given strength beyond what they knew was possible
and hoping that another angel...with big brown eyes
and a beautiful smile
will embrace her and welcome her home
