Welcome to Remembering Natalie.
This blog has been created by us, Natalie's mom and sisters, to share with all of you, glimpses of her amazing 23 years of life.
This is not meant to be a sad look back . . . but more a way to tell her story and keep her memory as bright as her life was.
Our hope is that here, you'll find good doses of laughter, her great recipes,
our random thoughts and memories, and maybe a few tears.
We are not what you would call the "pro-active" type . . .
but this is our attempt to aid in the awareness of DVT and Factor V Leiden,
the conditions that ended her life here on earth.
We hope you'll check in every-so-often, and if you have any stories of her . . . please, do tell!
If you didn't know Natalie, get to know her by reading her story found at the bottom of the page . . .
So thanks for visiting & come back as often as you'd like!
"Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family.
One day each of us will run out of tomorrows"

This is my day....my baptism day!

I want to look for rainbows whenever there is rain
and ponder on the beauty of an earth made clean again
I want my life to be as clean as earth right after rain
I want to be the best I can and live with God again...

Baptized by his dad
Confirmed by his PaPa Kent
We love you Noah
We felt heaven so near
and the tears that were shed...were nothing buy happy ones
Thank you for this very special day

then coming home and creating her favorite dessert {SCORE DESSERT}
As always...we let all the kids

forever 23.

you know that one of Natalie's favorite songs was Forever Young by Alphaville?
[well it was]
little did any of us know that she, herself would be . . . in terms of age
forever young
she was 23, just short of turning 24 when she died.
[she would be 31 today]
guess we shouldn't complain about getting older each year. . . heaven knows she wouldn't be.
nope. she definitely wouldn't be.

so happy birthday Nat!

forever beautiful.
forever loved.
forever 23.
forever young.
forever my big sister.

xo.
