Welcome to Remembering Natalie.
This blog has been created by us, Natalie's mom and sisters, to share with all of you, glimpses of her amazing 23 years of life.
This is not meant to be a sad look back . . . but more a way to tell her story and keep her memory as bright as her life was.
Our hope is that here, you'll find good doses of laughter, her great recipes,
our random thoughts and memories, and maybe a few tears.
 We are not what you would call the "pro-active" type . . .
but this is our attempt to aid in the awareness of DVT and Factor V Leiden,
the conditions that ended her life here on earth.
We hope you'll check in every-so-often, and if you have any stories of her . . . please, do tell!
If you didn't know Natalie, get to know her by reading her story found at the bottom of the page . . .
So thanks for visiting & come back as often as you'd like!

The Spectrum Article

Talk about shock
A little bird in my department
whom I won't name {Donna}
called the Spectrum and told them about my sock project...
click on the link below and it will take you to the article
published in the paper..
click here to read the article found on the front page of todays newspaper.
here is my disclaimer..
so much was left out that I wish the reporter would have included
I was "miss quoted" on the FRONT page...no less
so when you read it...add the words "while traveling" to the quote
and then it will be correct
wish I could have written the article myself
I don't love being the center of attention
...and I certainly don't love the picture {AGH}
but I love that awareness was put
right.on.the.front.page.
for ALL to see

My mom called me first thing in the morning to tell me to go online and read it. By the way...I love all the socks. They are so cute and creative.
