Welcome to Remembering Natalie.
This blog has been created by us, Natalie's mom and sisters, to share with all of you, glimpses of her amazing 23 years of life.
This is not meant to be a sad look back . . . but more a way to tell her story and keep her memory as bright as her life was.
Our hope is that here, you'll find good doses of laughter, her great recipes,
our random thoughts and memories, and maybe a few tears.
We are not what you would call the "pro-active" type . . .
but this is our attempt to aid in the awareness of DVT and Factor V Leiden,
the conditions that ended her life here on earth.
We hope you'll check in every-so-often, and if you have any stories of her . . . please, do tell!
If you didn't know Natalie, get to know her by reading her story found at the bottom of the page . . .
So thanks for visiting & come back as often as you'd like!

One day each of us will run out of tomorrows"

Socks on Display....

My darling friend Bonnie

has never met Natalie...yet, she thinks of her always

and tells me that she feels like she knows her

through me..

Bonnie is one of those kinds of friends

who would do anything for you

and she does...

like arranging to have the fabulous compression socks

that were created by family, friends and co-workers

displayed at the Washington County School District Office

what better place

to be educated and informed about DVT and Pulminary Embolism

than a place where educators congregate?!

Our display turned out quite fabulous..

{because the socks are fabulous}

thank you Bonnie..

for helping to educate and inform

but mostly...for thinking of Natalie

I know she knows you too..

through me..

People can't stop commenting about our sock display.
I Love it when I see small groups of people all gathering around and commenting on each of the amazing socks. But mostly I love remembering my darling friends beautiful daughter Natalie. So many people tell me how they knew her and what a sweet spirit she had. I know she did because I can see it in her moms cute smile! So blessed to have you as a friend Sherie.
